Willow Lake, located at the base of Willow Mountain just south of Historic Copper Center, is a beautiful shallow water lake in South Central Alaska. Beyond the lake the world famous Wrangell Mountains of the Wrangell St. Elias National Park are visible. Jim and Linda Marchini have made this their home and have an elegant hand made log cabin ready to share with you.
At mile post 88.5 on the Richardson Highway you will stay in a cozy log cabin filled with the uniqueness of Jim's artistic touch. Although our guest cabin is outfitted with all the amenities of home, you will feel like part of the wilderness while you enjoy the tranquility and view of the wildlife near this serene Alaskan lake.
With only one guest cabin, space is limited but privacy is not. Hand made dutch doors provide a private entrance as well as access to the lake shore just off the back deck. Your children are welcome. While there are no fish in the lake, boat access is available and the lake is suitable for swimming. Just across the highway is public access to the Alaska Pipeline viewing area. Look at our "Things to do here" page for more ideas of local activities.
